This is mainly due to the exorbitant cost of medical school, which scares away students with financial difficulties.

  • You also need to earn A Medical Degree.
  • Complete A Residency Program
  • Obtain Licensure.

The Income of A Medical Doctor

The typical annual salary for doctors and surgeons in the United States is at least $208,000, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

PayScale reports that a medical biller’s annual pay ranges from $22,490 to $42,084, with a starting salary of $34,746.
